Comprehensive rheumatology care in Dubai

Joint pain that won't settle, stiffness that lasts an hour after waking, swelling you can't explain — these are often the first signs of an autoimmune or rheumatic condition. In rheumatology, an early diagnosis genuinely changes outcomes. We combine a proper history and examination with on-site blood work and, where needed, ultrasound or referral for imaging. Most patients leave the first visit knowing what's going on and with a plan started.

Care is led by Dr. Bassel Darwish — ABIM board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, with a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (Madison), and decades of experience in adults and children. Treatment follows international guidance from the American College of Rheumatology and EULAR — no unproven remedies, no unnecessary tests.

Dr. Darwish is also an invited peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology (JCR), the official clinical-practice journal of the Association of Clinical Rheumatologists — evaluating submitted research prior to publication.

Conditions we treat

Osteoporosis screening

You can lose a third of your bone mass before the first symptom appears. A short assessment — including a DEXA scan when indicated — tells us your fracture risk and whether treatment is worthwhile. See our osteoporosis page for the detail.
