Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a therapist and a psychiatrist?
A therapist / counsellor helps you work through thoughts, feelings and behaviours through talking therapy. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can also prescribe medication. Many people benefit from both.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. What you share in sessions is strictly confidential, in line with UK BACP ethical guidelines.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you're working through. Some people find 6–8 sessions enough; others prefer ongoing support. Your therapist will discuss this openly with you.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Sessions are available in-person at Dubai Healthcare City or by secure video across the UAE.
Which insurers do you accept?
We accept direct billing with most major UAE insurers. WhatsApp us and we'll check your coverage before booking.
